Granston ran ok yesterday, as he was thrown in to the deep end at York for his first run, he has come back fine, and am sure he will be winning soon!
We have got a busy weekend with 4 runners at Doncaster on Saturday and Ripon on Sunday.

The end of a morning training session for Right Result, How Sweet It Is and Fossgate (left to right) in the sunshine which makes a nice change! Hoping for another good performance from Granston at the York races later today.
How Sweet It Is
Right Result
Steel River
Rich again and Bradbury returning to Thorngill after Saturday morning training on the gallops. Hoping that Her Nibbs and Fossgate can keep the winning trend going after yesterdays sucess at the Chester races for Pintrada and Last Supper (second and third placing respectively).
Andy Elliot riding Fossgate, followed by Granston and Steelriver, in preparation for Thirsk races tomorrow. Needing an improvement in the weather to help with the soft ground. Hopefully Last Supper will make good use of the soft going at Chester day and Pintrada will use this as part of his continued learning curve.
Fossgate, Granston and Steelriver on the way home for breakfast after training on the gallops.
We have had a good morning today, we haven’t got wet! The horses all seem really well, so fingers crossed Damascus will run well, and she doesn’t have one of her strops! Charlcot is due to run tomorrow at Southwell, under Amy Ryan.

Ground Ginger

Jackaddock
Alive and Kicking won well yesterday at Hamilton under Amy Ryan, he really is progressing in to a lovely horse. Keep fingers crossed he will carry on improving. Right Result was a bit disappointing at Newmarket, but I think it was due to the ground, and Spey Song again was disappointing. We have a few more runners this week, so let’s hope we can continue with the winning pattern!
Bradbury won very well at Musselburgh yesterday, and think he must of wanted to go round again as after the line he dropped Graham!
Let’s hope this is the start of a good weekend, as we have got Right Result at Newmarket tomorrow and Alive and Kicking & Spey Song at Hamilton on Sunday.
We had a very interesting day last Friday as Gary Witherford came to see Pintrada to try and sort the starting stalls problem out. Gary was amazing to watch and we all learnt a lot from him, fingers crossed he has cracked the problem.

Pintrada and Jessica!
Her Nibbs ran very green on Wednesday and was very shocked i think, of what to do. She will improve a lot for the run. Damascus behaved terribly at the races, and not really sure why, then she didnt seem to try one bit in the race. She has come back and eaten everything! Starbotton was unlucky as she had the best draw and then they moved the stalls which gave her the worst draw, again she will improve for the run. Last Supper ran a good race, as i know they think a lot of the winner. We just need the winners to come!
We have got quite a few runners this week, starting with Her Nibbs tomorrow at Catterick in the 2.40pm race. She is part of our new membership club.
Fossgate is all set to make his season debut on Thursday at Beverly with Amy Ryan. Then Damascus is due to go to Doncaster in Friday, and Starbotton to Ripon on Saturday, along with Spey Song and Last Supper at either Doncaster or Haydock. So fingers crossed we manage to get a winner or two this week
Bradbury was very disappointing on Thursday at Aintree, but it was a very hot race. He has come back fine after the race, and think he will be appearing on the flat again this season. I hope you all enjoyed the National.
We have 2 runners tomorrow Starbotton our first 2 year old runner of the season, and Spey Song. They both seem in great order, just hoping for two pleasing runs, would be great if Spey Song should us more of her two year old career rather than last year’s performances.
Also Alive and Kicking and Rich Again our entered at Thirsk on Saturday.
